Guide #4 - Raiding Barbs

Raiding barbarian camps is a great way to get more resources. Even if you only raid low level barb camps, you’ll still be adding to your supply.

This is how much resources you can get from barb camp raiding:

Lvl x 1,000 Gold
Lvl x 100,000 Food
Lvl X 10,000 Wood
Lvl X 1,000 Stone
Lvl X 100 Ore

So, if you raid a level 1 barb camp, you’ll get 2,000 gold, 200,000 food, 20,000 wood, 2,000 stone and 200 ore. Just do the math for higher or lower levels.

Barb camps reset every hour, so if you are online playing or chatting, you can run your raids every hour to really build up resources!

ARCHERS NEEDED FOR BARB CAMP ATTACKS (from cynraven)
Be sure to include wagons/supply troops to carry back supplies. Wagons are preferred for raiding barb camps.

Lvl / # Archers
1/300 archers
2/900 archers
3/2700 archers
4/8100 archers if level 7 fletching
4/6500 archers if level 8 fletching
5/15000 archers if Level 8 fletching
6/33000 archers if Level 8 fletching
6/22000 archers if Level 9 Fletching
7/46000 archers with level 9 Fletching

As you can see, researching Fletching is important if you want to raid higher level camps.

You will need idle knights in your Knight’s Hall to run raids on barb camps, however many raids you want to run at one time, is the number of idle knights you need. I suggest assigning at least 4 to 6 at the very beginning even if you aren’t using them all, so that they can start to gain experience and levels.

You will also need to raise your rally point high enough to send out multiple troops. Each lvl of rally point allows you to send out one attack, with each level adding 10,000 troops to how many you can send. So for instance a Level 3 rally point allows you to send out three attacks with up to 30,000 troops on each attack.

I would suggest sending supply wagons when you raid barbarian camps. I have found that around 115 supply wagons will hold around 1 mill in resources.

Go to your map, and move around your city/cities and bookmark all the barbarian camps that are at a level you can attack. Don’t go too far from your city, try to stay within 1 minute to 15 minutes from your city. Personally I only farm the ones within 5 minutes of my cities.

Each hour, you can go back and make your rounds farming the barb camps you’ve bookmarked.

[To bookmark a barb camp, click on the camp and under their location it will say “Bookmark Location”, it will bookmark it which is then available under your own coordinates on the map.]

Here is an example of a report from a lvl 1 barb camp I’ve raided:
